The Human Knot

Participants must collaborate to successfully complete the task. This collaboration relies heavily on good communication. 

All participants must stand in a circle shoulder to shoulder and facing each other. First, all the participants reach out their right hand towards the middle of the circle and grab another hand. While holding on to the right hands, the same must be repeated with the left hand. 

Now that all the participants’ hands are connected, the participants must work together to untangle themselves without letting go (although adjusting grips might be necessary). 

Optionally, add a time limit. 

Note – Maybe some students don’t feel comfortable holding hands or standing so close. This is something for the teacher to keep in mind.
