Following extensive research, including desk research and interviews with companies, the LEADER project partners have put together a soft skills curriculum for students in Vocational Education and Training (VET).

Soft skills are increasingly becoming the hard skills of today’s workforce. It’s just not enough to be highly trained in technical skills, without developing the softer, interpersonal and relationship-building skills that help people to communicate and collaborate effectively.

This curriculum includes comprehensive information about soft skills and why soft skills matter in this day and age. It also comprises detailed information about the Top 10 Soft Skills for the Future of Work, including information on:

  • Communication
  • Listening
  • Leadership
  • Adaptability
  • Empathy
  • Decision-making
  • Time management
  • Collaboration
  • Creativity
  • Problem-solving

The curriculum can be found here.
